First Four Turns
Slow the opening turns down so beginners can draw, scan, discard, pause for calls, and update their rack direction calmly.

Practice Ideas
- Play four slow turns and require each player to name one rack clue before discarding.
- Pause after every discard long enough for legal calls to be considered.
